Whimsy Stamps ~ Boo Box

Hey crafty pals, yep, I've gone a wee bit Halloween doolally lately, my makes are all about Halloween! I have another fun Halloween Gift Box for you today. Which I've recycled an old cheese box to create. You know I LOVE to recycle right?!

These lil' French balsam wood cheese boxes really do upcycle so nicely. I used a black Promarker to colour in the edge, which worked a treat! Then I used added an orange base layer cut with Whimsy Stamps Pierced and Stitched Circles Die Set. You might recall my 'waste' circle from the Witches Hat make. It fit nicely for this creation. Then I pulled out an older Whimsy die to diecut some patterned paper from the awesome Whimsy Stamps Halloween Paper pack called Hocus Pocus. There are so many fun papers in this set and they're a really lovely weight!

I diecut the 'Boo' from the fabulous Whimsy Stamps Bold ABC Die Set and adhered it to the box front using Olba glue. I then added a large bat from the Dracula's Coffin Die Set and then I added three little bats from the new Bats and Bubbles Border Die Set.

We've had a rather fabulous Mini-Release over the weekend at Whimsy Stamps, so click through on the banner above, it's full of absolute cuteness, especially with Christmas coming up! So do check it out! We will of course be back very soon with the November New Release and you don't want to miss that, there are some seriously fabulous stamps and dies in this! I'll be back soon with yet another Halloween Gift creation, so watch this space. Hugs and happy crafting xoxo

As You Like It: Favourite Papers and Why ~ Gosh I have SO MANY favourites. Paper is my thing, I don't craft much with inky backgrounds and the like, because I JUST LOVE pretty papers. I'm a big fan of digital papers, because I can then control the weight I print on to suit whatever medium I'm working with. But I have to say, this Halloween, my favourite papers are from this fabulous Whimsy Stamps Hocus Pocus pack. I've used it several times recently. So this is entry 2.
