Sweet Stampin' ~ Flowers

Hello again, I know, I know, I only just blogged a card but Murphy's Law, my DT posts always come in threes! Hehe, so I'm here today with a DT post for Sweet Stampin'. This week, we would love to see all your papercrafty makes with flowers. Remember there must be some stamping to be eligible for the Top 3 spots. 

I chose to work with a sweet Elisabeth Bell image that I have as a rubber stamp. A while back, my lovely crafty pal Pops, was having a clear out and I bought a whole bunch of her sweet Elisabeth Bell images. I just love some of these older ones, the Sugar Nellie, SCACD, Whiff of Joy and Elphine House images really were some of her sweetest. This lil' cutie is originally from an Elisabeth Bell Sampler for SCACD and she's called Susan. I coloured this image with my Promarkers and stamped the second part of the sentiment directly on the image panel. The first half of the sentiment, I added to a fishtail diecut tag and popped it up on foam.

The flowers are a mix of Tulips, Daffodil, Gardenia, Yellow Open Roses, Small Red Open Roses all from Wild Orchid Crafts and a daisy from my stash that I think I picked up at a craft fair. I just love the bright joyful colours of this flower mix. 

I'll have to hunt down the details for the paper I used, I can't recall which set it's from, but I'll find it and add the details later. As You Like It: Favourite Embellishments ~ I don't always use them, but flowers are definitely amongst my favourite embellishments, from the flat papercut flowers, to the 3D mulberry paper flowers and everything in between. I love to use flowers on my creations.
