Whimsy Wednesday ~ Lil' Miss Peggy

Hey there lovelies. I'm here today with a Whimsy Wednesday post and I must say, I've had such fun with this one as I just LOVE Sylvia Zet's images. This sweet image is called Peggy. I've coloured up this wee cutie with my Promarkers on this occasion, as I'm still building my Copic Stash. Did you know Whimsy Stamps now stocks Copics?! I used a scrummy digital paper created by Crissy Armstrong on this card. I just love the Distressed Polka Dots paper and think it was such a nice fit for this card. I've sponged the edge of the image panel with Tea Dye Distress Ink to match the lovely shimmer cardstock I used to create the card base.

I went for crisp white embellishments, a pretty organza bow, and diecuts from the fabulous card builder set called Hearts of Love. I used the little waste heart from the 'love' word die, sprinkled a bit of glitter and added it over the main heart from that set for a little added interest. The card shape was created with a Go Kreate die ~ Frilly #7.

As You Like It: Single or Multiple Layers? I'm a fan of multiple layers. I find single layer cards very tricky, I love how others create them, but I'm more comfortable with layers of pretty paper.
