Sweet Stampin' ~ Father's Day

Hey lovelies, I'm back again. Yep, I know it's not my week, but I so totally dropped the ball last week, I thought I'd redeem myself by posting this week as well. It's just been my hubby's 50th birthday and that was a hugely busy week too, but I did manage to create this card to celebrate my lovely man. I think it fits the challenge this week quite nicely.

I bought this fantastic stamp set from Hunky Dory's 'For The Love of Stamps' line. I knew when I saw it, that it would be perfect for a creation for my hubby and I'm sure I'll use it again too. Now you have to use your imagination when you look at this card, because it wasn't until I finished creating it that I realised I hadn't 'grounded' the images'! LOL, so you just need to imagine a floating perspex stage!! Hehe, yes, that's my fix!

This stamp set is awesome, it comes with the crowd and several musicians and sentiments, perfect for any rock lovin' person. I think I'll have to use it for my daughter next, who is following in her daddy's footsteps!

I can't quite believe my hubby has just turned 50! This is how he looked when we first met and he still has long hair! He's been playing and writing music ever since then and I'm very proud of my talented hubby. If you're curious to check out his music, you can have a listen here. I love his melodic mellow tunes. But he does quite a wide range of styles. All the tracks are written and performed by him. This track here is one of my favourites ~ Ocean Spray.
