Whimsy Stamps ~ Sweet Gabby

Hey there crafty pals. I'm popping in today with a sweet creation I made for my cute niece. I think this image is so adorable and had great fun colouring this up, especially adding the extra touches on the shirt and shoes. Amazing the detail a white gel pen can add!

This sweet image is called Pigtail Gabby and is from the Whimsy Stamps Sassy Cheryl Collection. I cut the image with a lovely double stitched frame from a Whimsy Stamps Shaker Die Set and added a brick wall background. I used a really pretty Whimsy Stamps Paper as the base layer, which has lots of gorgeous colour. I wanted this to be a feature without taking away from the image, so added layers of orange flower wrap and a doily behind the image. I finished the design with a lovely orange organza ribbon.
