Southern Girls ~ Anything Goes
Hey there lovelies. It's time again for a new challenge at Southern Girls and this week it's 'Anything Goes'! We have two fabulous sponsors, Lacy Sunshine and Papernest Dolls. I had a wonderful image in my stash from Lacy Sunshine, that I've used before to create a 'WOW' (white on white) card and loved it so much, I thought I'd do it all again! You can take a peek at my original WOW with this image here.
This week has been so busy, I'm chasing my tail, so I'm popping up a very quick post, with pics taken at night time, which is not the best light, so I will pop back in tomorrow with updated daytime pics and more details. But this gives and overview of the card.
I've kept my WOW design very simple this time, with just a couple of feathers beneath her to sit on hinting at a snow mound and then some tiny white glittered Christmas trees that came in a magazine so many years ago now, it feels good to use them!
I'll be back with better pics, but in the meantime, head over to the Southern Girls Challenge and check out what my awesome teamies have been up to. We have some fabulous new crew joining us and we're super stoked to have them joining the team, so be sure to give them a warm welcome!
See you very soon. Hugs, Wends xoxo
Okay, I'm back, with better pics taken in the daylight. My lightbox is very small, so it doesn't take brilliant pics of larger cards. Pics in natural light make all the difference for me. So here they are, the follow up pics in better light.

The best light was on our driveway!

I love white on white cards. They're great for so many occasions. They work well for weddings, funerals and I love the icy finish they can lend to a Christmas card. I love this particular image for WOW, which is why I wanted to do it all again when the chance arose. The sentiment for my card was too large to put on the front of the card and I quite loved all that white space and the fab embossed snowflakes, so I just stamped it on the inside!
Such a perfect sentiment for that image don't you think?
Right, that's my update done. Thanks for popping in to see me today and apologies for the false start! I think it can make or break a post getting good lighting on your pics, so wanted the do-over. Speaking of do-over, 'do head on over' to the challenge and check out what my teamies have been up to. We have two fantastic sponsors and the new crew have hit the ground running with some truly fantastic creations. Ya'll know our veteran crew rock right?! So there's plenty of eye candy on the blog today! I'll be back again soon with another crafty adventure, it's going to be a good one, so come on back tomorrow!! Hugs to you all and happy crafting, Wends xoxo
