Sweet Stampin' ~ Tags

Hey crafty friends, it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and this time we'd love to see your makes that feature tags. I actually made this card some time back, but it's never been blogged and as I'm having a really busy time right now with family visiting from the States, a bestie visiting from Canada and lots of prep' work ahead of our Halloween Season at Whimsy. I decided to share this older make for my contribution this week. (Yes I still have a backlog of unblogged cards.)

This adorable little tag die is from MFT and the image is actually a sticker which I picked up in a pack when I was last visiting my bestie in Sweden. Authentic Swedish Tomte right there! The sentiment is stamped in Memento London Fog. The fun paper is actually a strip of waste wrapping paper that I really loved and had to figure out how to work into a design. I topped the tag with some satin thread and added a cute little cotton pom pom lace to complete the card. The dies are from my stash, I think the stitched one you can see on the red paper is an older MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangles die. I used a smaller one from the same set on the patterned paper. These were some of my very first stitched dies and I love them just as much today, though not sure where these even are in my stash since the house move. (Yes I know it's been more than 2 years, but I've still lots of crafty stash in storage, this house is smaller!) I used an older Martha Stewart punch for the shaped border at the bottom of the card. Fun to look back and reminisce on earlier crafty adventures.

Thanks for popping in to visit today friends and I hope you're able to join our fabulous 'Tags' challenge at Sweet Stampin' this fortnight. We'd love to see what you're inspired to create. Do check out what my talented teamies created too. They always inspire me! I'll be back very soon with another crafty adventure, until then, hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo

(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)
