Candy Day Countdown!
Hey crafty pals, do you have littlies in your life that have started the Candy Day Countdown?! My small boy is all about the Halloween fun and of course the Halloween Candy! So he's getting excited for the weekend. I've had such fun creating for Halloween this year. I actually have more creations than I think I'll have time to share! But oh the fun trying!! This latest one, is a quick and simple bit of candy decorating.
These were so quick, easy and fun to make! A few lollipops, some fun bright decorative paper, a few diecuts and some washi tape to finish. Bish bash bosh and they were done!! Such a nice bright decorative addition to our Halloween candy bowl!
The paper I've used to create these fun wraps, is from two different Whimsy Stamps paper pads, but they work together perfectly! The cute heart paper is from the Rainbows Paper Pack and the funky chevron paper is from the Starring Hearts Paper Pack. The washi tape I've used is from a cute trio of washi tape by the Simple Stories Carpe Diem collection called Simple Vintage Halloween. I really love this set of washi tape, the plaid is gorgeous and so are the cute pumpkin faces, which you might recall from this creation here. The final touch to these lollipop wrappers were the diecut embellishments. I kept it very simple, a few skulls and tombstones did the trick nicely and the Whimsy Stamps Dracula's Coffin Die Set was just the set for these! The perfect size designs. I was able to get three wraps out of a 6x6 page. 2 inches wide for each wrap.
If you've not had a chance to check out all the cute Halloween images and sets at Whimsy Stamps, but sure to stop by, they really have the most fun Halloween creative elements. I've yet another decor idea to share with you soon, but that's it for tonight! Hugs and happy crafting xoxo
