Whimsy Stamps ~ Jingle Bells

Hey there crafty friends, I'm popping in with a trio of cards today and I'm in the pink! I had a set arrive to me that I bought for the cute Halloween label, but post to NZ can take its merry time, so it arrived too late for that, but it has a selection of other themes one of which is this cute Christmas Jingle Bells wreath. So I had the idea to combine it with my lovely Elegant Ornaments Die Set to make a card. I had this pink cardstock on my desk and I love pink for just about any occasion (though don't tell my crafty bestie that, she's not a fan!) I played around pairing the pink paper with some other patterned papers from my stash and found three it paired with quite well.

I also pulled out some different embossing powders to have a play with different colours on the pink cardstock, I chose a gold, a copper and a pink embossing powder for that tone on tone effect. I embossed and then diecut the panels with the Elegant Ornaments die and then set about pairing the papers with the embossing colours.

This first card, I've paired the copper embossing powder with a super cute gingerbread man design paper from the Cozy Winter Paper Pack. My shots were taken in the evening, so the paper is coming up a bit blue in my pics, but it is in fact more of a soft mint green and really lovely.

For this second card, I've used the tone on tone pink embossing powder and paired it with this pretty paper from the Starring Hearts Paper Pack. I really liked the way this cute stars paper toned with the pink cardstock and it really is pretty in person.

My final card of the three, I've used another page from the Cozy Winter Paper Pack and as this one has some earthy toned baubles along with some pinks and blues. I paired this with the gold tone embossing powder. I think these all turned out so well and the design was simple enough to do a batch make, though I stopped at 3 for now. This Elegant Ornament Die Set has several different stamps that work with it and it was fun to try one that wasn't made to go with it necessarily, but still worked so well!

I hope you enjoyed seeing this little batch make and what's possible with a bit of patterned paper, a fun stamp set and a cool die. If you like the stamp set, now is a great time to grab it, as it's currently on special. I will be back with another Christmas make very soon, but not until December! Eek, can you believe it?! It's that time of the year already. My Christmas crafting shifts into hyper gear, hehe, that's what happens when I leave it last minute! Not helped by 10 poorly days at a crucial time! Sigh, will I learn my lesson next year? Unlikely. Hope your Christmas crafting is a little less frantic than mine! Hugs, Wends xoxo
