Sweet Stampin' ~ Snowmen or Snowladies

Hey there lovely crafty pals. I hope your week is going well. I'm here to share our latest challenge at Sweet Stampin' with you and I'm running in late today, as I've just come back from a funeral. The closer it gets to Christmas, the more I reach for the toppers and the CAS designs! I just don't have time for lots of colouring and layering. Are you the same? I do love an elegant CAS card for Christmas.

I can't recall exactly where this paper is from that I've used, but it has a lovely glittery embossed finish, so I'm guessing it's from one of my First Edition paper sets. If anyone knows this paper, could you fill in the blank for me? I have to get better at writing down where I pull the papers from when I do it! LOL. I love this paper though, elegant and textured and sparkly! The warmth of the hue worked so nicely with the colours in this beautiful Lili of the Valley topper. Oh to have that skill at colouring!

We are a stamping blog, so of course I couldn't get away with leaving this plain, so I stamped 'Tis the season to be' and the inside of the card of course reads 'Jolly'. The sentiment is from a Lil' Inker Clear Stamp set. I edged the image panel with London Fog ink and then added loose glitter around the edge for a little touch of sparkle. Simples!

It was such a fun CAS design to create with that lovely topper and I really need to do a few more as I'm running out of crafting hours now and Christmas is just around the corner! I can't wait to see what you are inspired to create with our 'Snowmen or Snowladies' theme this week. Whatever you do, just remember there must be some stamping even if it's just the sentiment! I hope your Christmas crafting is going well and I'll see you again really soon with another crafty adventure. Hugs, Wends xoxo
