Sweet Stampin' Challenge with Lili of the Valley Stamp Set

Hey crafty friends, I have had a difficult week, with a loss in the wider family and a busy time with extended family saying our goodbyes, so I'm very behind with posts. I'm combining two of my posts with this gorgeous Rainbow Card fitting perfectly with our 'Rainbows' challenge at Sweet Stampin'. We look forward to seeing the gorgeous rainbow creations you make too!

I've coloured these sweet images from Lili of the Valley with Copic Markers in rainbow hues. I love how this card turned out and it was fun to create the photo layout with those lovely rainbow envelopes too, which are from Simon Says Stamp if you're curious. I bought a pack a short while back and had yet to use any of them, so I had a pretty good rainbow spread! I used a fabulous Whimsy Stamps die set called Peekaboo Windows 2 to create the aperture background. I used a panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock to cut the frame from and mounted it with foam strips from 3L to add a little dimension. I could have turned it into a shaker at this point, but felt there was enough going on with the rainbow colouring, so left the rest very clean and simple. The images were popped up on foam rounds just a little higher than the foam strips level, made possible with some newer thinner lofts of foam round, which I could mount on top of the original 2mm loft. I stamped a simple sentiment in the middle of the design, with VersaFine Clair Ink in Arctic.

Thanks for popping in to visit today. I hope you're able to come and join us for our Rainbows Challenge at Sweet Stampin'. Do stop by the challenge to check out what my talented teamies got up to for this challenge, they always bring something clever and wonderful to the table. See you again with another crafty adventure. Hugs, Wends xoxo

(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)

Thank you so much Chris. Very sad couple of weeks. Lovely to see extended family, but so hard under the circumstances. Felt a little odd sharing this bright colourful design today, but life doesn't stop and there's no pause button xoxo
