Lili of the Valley ~ Easter Hug

Hey crafty friends, I'm popping in to share a sweet Easter card I made for one of my niece's to go with her birthday parcel which I was delivering very close to Easter! So I thought it'd be rather lovely to celebrate both special events with her.

This enchanting image is called Easter Hug and is from the Easter Release at Lili of the Valley. They have some really enchanting new releases in their Etsy Store right now. I loved colouring up these cuties with my Copic Markers and used a fabulous cloud stencil from Whimsy Stamps to add that pretty cloudy sky detail.

I also used their delish new plaid paper pack for the background paper. How perfect is that pairing?! I just love this image and paper combo! I'm sharing this sweet creation for our Sweet Stampin' Easter challenge, I hope you'll be able to join us with your Easter makes.

I've distressed the edge of the paper with a Tim Holtz Paper Distressing Tool, backed the image with a sweet paper doily and wrapped some lovely May Arts Ivory Twine around the card base to complete the design. Sweet and simple and I didn't even realise until after I'd photographed this card, that I'd not added a sentiment, but I think this card has all the Spring and Easter vibes covered, so I don't think it actually 'needs' a sentiment, I love it just as it is. Thanks for popping in to visit and having a look at my creation. I look forward to seeing what you're inspired to create for Easter and I'll see you again soon with another crafty adventure. Hugs, Wends xoxo

(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)
