Fab 'n' Funky ~ Ribbon or Lace

Hey there crafty pals, how's your week going? We've just finished Spring Break, so the kiddos have headed back to school and I've got some crafty me time again, woohoo! It's time for a new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky and we have such a sweet one for you today. We would love to see your crafty creations using 'Ribbon or Lace'. I made this card for one of my sweet nieces. I just love this darling fairy. She was such fun to colour up. Yes, she does look like the Whimsy Stamps fairies you might be seeing about at the moment. She was one of my earliest stamp purchases back when Marina Fedotova designed for Pergamano. They were enchanting then and are still enchanting today! 

I love 'timeless' stamps and this one has sure stood the test of time. It's well over 10 years ago that I purchased her. I'm feeling more than a little spoilt to be able to play with more of Marina's gorgeous fairies and images since Whimsy Stamps brought out their lovely Marina Fedotova range. I coloured her a while back and then 'stashed' her for the 'right' creation, so she was coloured with my Promarkers.

If you take a closer peek you can see I've added some little pearl trails under the pink butterflies on the patterned paper, I love that look. I added a small tag and you might be able to spot the pink lace I've used behind the tag and flowers. I notched the edges of the paper just for fun using a circle punch. I love the way this looks. I really should do it more!
