Sweet Stampin' ~ All You Need Is Love

Hello my crafty friends, I'm sharing my latest Sweet Stampin' creation with you today. We're having a Love/Valentine/Wedding/Anniversary themed challenge this week and I'm sharing the card I created for my lovely Aunty and Uncle who not long ago celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. 60 years! That's quite something huh? I knew that the Biblical sentiment I had based on 1st Corinthians 13 would be very meaningful for them and I was not wrong. They both loved this card. It's a beautiful passage of scripture and it was perfect for their special celebration. I stamped and embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder. 

I wanted to create a very soft and romantic looking card so used some beautiful floral paper from Michele Roos and some gorgeous guipure lace, a distressed doily and a very pretty card shape thanks to a Go Kreate XXL die. I really like how this card came out and only wish I'd taken a pic before giving it! I ended up taking this at the celebration, so green grass or a flower pot were my best options. Neither really do justice to the card, but 20/20 hindsight right!
