Whimsy Stamps Sensational Sunday Valentine's Hop!

Hey my lovely crafty friends,
do you need your Sundays to be more Sensational?
Well we think we have a fun fix for today!

Come and join the Digital Divas this week for our

Now I'm guessing you've all heard the 'Eros' term for love,
that's what Valentine's Day celebrates after all,
but did you know there are seven Greek words for love?!

Agape ~ Unconditional Love
Philia ~ The Love Between Friends
Storge ~ The Love Between Family Members

I wonder how many of you know the rest?

For an extra chance to win, comment on the Whimsy Inspiration Blog
with one more Greek term for love that isn't mentioned above.

For an additional chance to win, head on over to
the Whimsy Stamps Facebook Group, tag me, Wendy Nicola Jackson
and leave the comment 'I Just Hopped!'

Hop along with our fabulous DT who have created some
inspiring Valentine's and Love themed creations.
Be sure to leave a comment on their blog or
their Instagram Page, it could be either!

We will be choosing random comments
from several of the blogs, but you won't know which,
so be sure to comment on them all!

There's no 'order' to this hop, you can jump into the hop wherever you like,
just be sure to visit every link! You never know where the hidden prizes will be!

My first creation today features a sweet image
created especially for the beautiful native animals of Australia
affected by the Wildfires. You can find the Love For Australia set here.
I've used the fabulous Wavy Nested Dies Frame to create the watery puddle
and then added some sweet reeds and dragonfly details with the Build A Pond Die Set.
I used a lovely sentiment from the Enjoy The Little Things Clear Stamp Set too.
I think this Platypus is so sweet, this may just be a favourite make this year!

This is my 'Agape' (ah-GAH-peh) creation.

My second creation today features several sweet images
from our Whimsy Stamps Vault. There are the sweet little penguins from
the Penguins Winter Adventure Clear Stamp Set and I used the Matching Dies.
I also used one of my absolute favourite clear stamp sets of this last year
from talented Whimsy artist Crissy Armstrong - Lean on Me
and the sweetest set from Krista Heij-Barber,
her Baby Sea Creatures.

This is my 'Storge' (stor-yeh) creation made for my little boy.
This card is the crafter's answer to a fidget spinner! The Infinity Card.

I have one final creation to share
which uses a beautiful sentiment set that was created
especially to celebrate Valentine's Day, called Love Is Love
I adore this set as it has several of my favourite
love themed quotes and sentiments.

I've used a number of the sentiments to create the
foiled background and then altered one of the sets to use the
Happy Large Word Die from Whimsy Stamps.

I thought this would be fun to turn into a shaker card,
so I diecut a heart in the centre of the foiled sentiments and
then added a really pretty heart paper from the Whimsy Stamps
Digital Paper Set Hearts A Flutter. I added some lovely
shaker gems from Whimsy's Sparkletz collection.

This is my 'Eros' creation

Here's a close up for a better look at the shine the foil adds.

The Valentine's Hop Commences at 2pm EST on Sunday February 9th
and finishes at 2pm EST on Valentine's Day February 14th

So there's plenty of time to join in the fun,
grab a cuppa and enjoy the inspiration.

Hugs, happy Valentine's crafting
and happy hopping!

Love all your cards but the "fidget spinner" is my favorite. My grandson is 13 and still loves this type of card. They are worth the work. Hugs,
