Hey there crafty pals. I've managed to get my way steadily through the previous two posts and now am here to share with you my third. I'm really excited to share this last creation with you, as her name was attributed to me by her artist, the lovely Elisabeth Bell! I've loved Elisabeth's art for a great many years now and have rubber and digital versions of her images. Some of you will recall her rubber images for Whiff of Joy and later for Whimsy Stamps. She remains one of my favourite artists and I keep up with her crafty tales by being part of her Creative Club. Elisabeth has always been an incredibly generous artist, she regularly shares free images with her followers and I felt this was a nice way to give a little back, it's a very little cost to sign up to her Creative Club and the benefits are wonderful!
I was so honoured to open up the
Creative Club newsletter that contained this adorable image, which I'd previosly admired on one of Elisabeth's Instagram posts. She's been sharing gorgeous 'in process' sneak peeks of her colouring process and this happened to be one she was working on. I commented at the time that she was way too cute to spook and Elisabeth chose to name her that. I'm so touched and of course couldn't wait to get her coloured up! Not everyday you inspired an artist to name their creation, so she's pretty special to me! She will be sent to my darling niece Isabelle, who will absolutely adore her. So I've coloured her to look a wee bit like her. Going for long dark locks of hair.
I have used a gorgeous wee witch image of Elisabeth's
previously and paired it with this beautiful paper set and when thinking of this sweet image, I couldn't think of a better pairing! So I have pulled out this favourite set of Halloween papers again from Fancy Pants called Oct 31. There are two paper sets and I've used two papers from the first set for this design. One of the papers I used to paper piece her pretty dress, the second is the fabulous witches hats paper in the background.
This sweet image, I coloured with Copic Markers, including over the paper pieced skirt to add shadows to the folds and oh my that hat, don't you just LOVE it! Elisabeth's images are always enchanting and often quite wistful and this is absolutely how I'd describe this sweet Halloween cutie. I imagine her sweet expression is a little nervousness about all the halloween fun in store. I loved colouring her and her little kitty! Did you spot him up there on the hat?!
So there you have it, my three posts for the one challenge, yes, it's totally out of character for me, but it's Halloween ya'll! If you know me just a little bit, you'll know I totally adore the 'Too Cute To Spook' fun of Halloween, so to have a wee cutie like this, named after a comment I made to Elisabeth, well that is the icing on the cake! You see now why I had to share this third Halloween creation today right?!
I really do hope you'll come and play along with our 'All Hallow's Eve' challenge at Sweet Stampin', I'm so glad to have managed to get all three posts finished today. I hope you enjoy reading about these crafty adventures and encourage you seriously to go and take a look at Elisabeth's wonderful Creative Club. Hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo

Apologies for my post going up a touch late, in the excitement of my first craft show in many years I lost track of everything else!
