Whimsy Stamps ~ Boo!
Hey crafty friends, I'm back to share a cute little creation I made for the upcoming Trick or Treaters at Halloween. I love doing special little treat parcels and had such fun creating this sweet 'Boo Box'. It's actually incredibly quick and easy thanks to a fabulous die set from Whimsy Stamps.
I chose a pretty purple cardstock to create the box from and decided on a ghost themed box for this one. I think I'll make a couple more too, with alternate themes. The Boo word die from Whimsy worked a treat for this creation and I added a couple of little ghosts to the front weaving through the letters. This little box comes with some lovely embellishments too, so I cut the corner die from white cardstock and added those for a finishing touch. I added the little diecut 'waste' from the corner die to the tab to embellish that too. It's so pretty and made a nice finish for that.
I had some cute little treats that fit perfectly in this wee box and they were ghost themed too, so perfect for this creation! It comfortably fit four little treats. I'm hoping it will make a little person very smiley on Halloween.
This little 'Boo Box' was such fun to create and as I said, really quite quick to whip up. I've not had time to create the other two I have in mind, but I'll share those when I do. It's the end of school holidays here and we've just hunkered down at home having some staycation fun, as hubby has been working double time, really long hours on a big project, so I'm hoping things will settle and we'll get some 'family time' again soon. Thanks for popping in to visit today, I appreciate the comments that are left so much, it's lovely to know there are still a few 'old school' bloggers out there. Maybe I'm resisting the trend to only use Instagram and Facebook, but I feel so strongly that a blog is the nicest way to showcase my crafty adventures to have a history of my creating that I can scroll back through to see my progress over time. Am I alone in this? Thanks again for stopping in and especially if you leave me a comment, that way, I can visit you in return. Hugs xoxo

I receive a small commission, which costs you no extra, but helps these companies see where their marketing efforts are most effective from their DT and for me helps towards the higher cost of postage to New Zealand.
