Whimsy Stamps ~ Masculine Winter Card

Hey friends, I'm back with a masculine themed Winter card. I actually used this as a Christmas card, as I think it's also perfect for that, but I do think this would make a rather lovely Winter Birthday card for a fella. What do you think?

I love the images in this stamp set, I think they're rather majestic. I stamped this image in black Versafine Ink and then covered it with clear embossing powder to give this a really nice slightly shiny finish. I kept the card incredibly simple. I just added a wrap of black twine and two strips of tartan. Those strips would you believe (in my best upcycling effort) are actually the wrap on my ATG tape runner! The roll starts with these strips before the glue begins, so when you change the roll, these are sort of 'left over' in the part you discard. So I grabbed them out and used them as if they were Washi Tape on this card. I really love how it looks and was pretty chuffed with my recycling effort!
