Whimsy Stamps ~ Peace, Love, Joy
Hey crafty friends, I'm back with some more crafty creations that I made for Christmas, but ran out of time to share before the big day. It always sneaks up on me and usually that means, I've not had time to send my cards, or wrap the presents, or post the parcels, but this year, I managed to send a few which I hope now have started to reach their destinations. I know a couple have for sure, because I got sweet messages back. So I'll start with one of those. I actually made a pair of cards with this awesome die, that gave both the positive and negative of the design, both parts of which, can create a gorgeous design element.
I ink blended a panel and diecut the design, leaving a border which I could use as a frame for the 'negative' elements of the die. I created two shaker designs with both the positive and negative elements of the die. I used a page from an SBC plain paper pack as the shaker window backing and then I used some fabulous 'This Calls For Confetti' snowflakes and confetti for the shaker elements. I finished the designs with some black and white patterned Washi Tapes from my stash. I really love how these cards came out.
Thanks for popping in to visit today, I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas and are now enjoying some R&R after all the excitement. I'm busy prepping for the In-Laws arrival and crafting for the New Year, can you believe it, we'll be in 2023 in a matter of days!
Wow this week has gone by fast. I'll be back with a few more creations before the New Year rolls round. I do hope you enjoyed seeing this one. Hugs until then xoxo
