Whimsy Stamps ~ Love and Rainbows
Hey crafty friends, I'm back today with a cute make I made with a recently released image from Whimsy Stamps. You may recall, I used this set previously, you can see that make here. I made another shaker card as I really liked that first one and I have little nieces who will enjoy these shaker cards.
I used the same frame die to create the full front shaker and filled this shaker with a fun mix of Simon Says Stamp Sunflower Fields Sequins and some grape coloured seed beads. The seed beads make a satisfying noise when shaken around. You can see my reel which shows this here.
For this shaker I decided to use the lovely Rainbow Paper Pack from Whimsy, several pages with slightly different rainbow designs, which all worked together nicely. I used a Slimline Polaroid Die to create the cute little Polaroid frame for the butterflies. It is a slimline frame which has three polaroid frames side by side, so I cut one out to use as an individual frame. I also used a sweet heart die from the Fun with Words 1 Die Set to add the little heart details.
I added some gentle sparkle to the rainbow wings and added some white pen details too for a few highlights. I placed the rainbow stripes paper as the background for these cuties ensuring that the deep red stripe lined up with the cut out hearts.
