Sweet Stampin' ~ Clean & Simple
Hey crafty friends, we are back at Sweet Stampin' with a new challenge and this time we are looking for your Clean and Simple creations. It's my hubby's birthday on Sunday, so my weekend is a busy one and I've found myself reaching into the 'vault' again for a make I've previously made, but not got around to sharing. This one fits the bill pretty well to be honest, it's about as CAS as I get! For some reason, I've not ever got around to giving this one an outing on the blog. I find I create faster than I can blog at times and this was made quite some time ago.
This sweet image is an oldie but a goodie from the now retired stamp line Whiff of Joy. This was coloured with my Promarkers back in the days I was trying to get to grips with colouring with alcohol ink markers. So the shading is not perfect and it's nice to reflect on the progress I've made! Still a super cute CAS card I think with some fun little stamped additions and an embossed frame I added with a stylus for a bit of extra detail because truly CAS designs scare me! Hehe, not really, I love them and am in awe of designers who do them well, I have some favourites too, Maaike Uijthoven is amazing with CAS design. I just swoon from the sidelines most of the time and occasionally try my hand at it, but it's not my natural style. My pal Susan is also amazing at CAS designs and created an amazing one for this challenge, as did the rest of our talented team, so be sure to head to the Sweet Stampin' blog to check out all their gorgeous designs.
Thanks for popping in to visit today friends and I hope you're able to join our fabulous 'Clean & Simple' challenge. We'd love to see what you're inspired to do. I'll be back very soon with another crafty adventure, so watch this space. Hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo
(If you like any of the elements I've created with, I've added thumbnails to make your shopping easier. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever, though more importantly it helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)
