Lili of the Valley ~ Bunny My Hunny
Hey crafty friends, I'm popping in with a card I made with the latest release from Lili of the Valley. It's such a cute set and I had such fun creating this and the previous card I shared. I love a shaped frame, so the old paper edge on the previous one and this Magnolia Doohickey shaped frame make me so happy! I have many shaped frame dies in my stash and it's always fun to pull them out for a play. I've had this Magnolia frame die for a long while now and don't remember to use it often, so I had great fun creating this pretty card with it.
There is both a digital set and a photopolymer version of this cute Fluffy Kisses Stamp Set. The Digital Set has an extra bonus image, so check both versions out if you like these cuties. The Lili of the Valley website is going through a revamp, so be sure to go check out all the fun happening over there. It will soon serve as a payment portal for UK orders. Etsy will still service other countries, but UK peeps will be able to order directly from the Lili of the Valley website very soon. Exciting!
I think this sweet bunny is such a cute image, holding onto his wee bunny snuggle and balloon. I've coloured the image with Copic Markers and fussy cut around it to allow as much of the cute background paper to show as possible. I popped the bunny up on foam for a bit of dimension and interest. I can't recall which adhesive I used, as I have few on the go at the moment, so have offered some options in the thumbnails below. They're all good! The paper I used is a retired paper from Whimsy Stamps called Scribdoodle Critters. This paper pack has some super cute designs in it and I think it paired really sweetly with this adorable bunny.
I've used an older Magnolia Doohickey frame die for the card shape. I diecut the patterned paper, then had to carefully fussy cut the pink matt. Love how it looks, but note to self definitely use the spring loaded scissors to avoid finger cramp! I used a sweet sentiment from the same Lili of the Valley set as the bunny image. I encourage you to pop over to the 'We Love Lili of the Valley Facebook Group' to check out what my talented teamies have been up to with this adorable set too.
I encourage you to consider joining the We Love Lili of the Valley Facebook Group, if you haven't already. It's a lovely group of crafters who enjoy sharing their Lili of the Valley themed creations and a lovely place to visit for inspiration. I will be back soon with another crafty adventure. In the meantime I wish you a fabulous and creative week. Hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo
(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own. If you use my Whimsy Stamps links and it's your first time shopping with my links, you'll be offered a 10% discount, which is a cool treat. So my links cost you nothing, but may also save you a few pennies. This is a 'one time' benefit, great if planning a bigger purchase.)
