Sweet Stampin' ~ Food or Drink
Hey friends, I'm sharing a card for our latest challenge at Sweet Stampin'. I made this with Christmas in mind, with a cute image by Elisabeth Bell called Christmas In A Cup. I just love her sweet wistful images and this one is a real sweetie. I coloured this image with Copic Markers, but did it a while back, so don't recall the colours.
That beautiful paper, I bought at a local craft store and it had a mix of these pretty foiled floral papers, which I think add such a gorgeous touch to this simple card. I cut another flower from a second page and decoupaged the bottom right corner for a bit of added texture and dimension. I'll have to hunt down the name of this paper, not sure exactly where's it's stashed since our house move, so will update when I can.
The shape of the image panel was cut with a lovely notched corner die from Whimsy Stamps and I finished the design with a sweet little pale pink organza bow from my stash. A very CAS design, but I do love this style for Christmas creations, when I've left it too late! They're quick and easy to put together, pretty paper helps!
Thanks for popping in to visit today, I hope you enjoyed seeing this sweet Christmas creation with Elisabeth Bell's lovely image. I adore her images and subscribe to her wonderful club, so have access to several sweet free images each month. Incredible value for money and a lovely way to support an artist whose work I love. If you've not seen this option, do check out her lovely space on the web.
