Whimsy Stamps ~ Summer Beach Icons

Hey friends, I'm popping in today with a super cute new stamp set from Whimsy Stamps. This is from their latest New Release, the first for July and paint me excited, as it's my first ever share of their New Release images. Our fabulous Treasures Team at Whimsy will be sharing occasional New Release posts for Whimsy and we're all so excited to be doing this. So let's dive right in!

This set has the sweetest characters and icons that celebrate Summer so well! From little sea creatures and shells to the cutest icecream, cocktail, sandcastle and beach toys. A truly 'iconic' stamp set for Summer. I had trouble capturing the sparkle in this design, we've had endless day of rain lately and I just couldn't get a good shot of this card. So I encourage you to visit my Instagram page to see this sparkle best in the little reel I shared there.

I chose to ink these cuties in a grey ink, trying to go for a more 'no lines' kind of feel, but I don't know that this was the right choice for this card, I don't have the skills down for no lines colouring, so I'll go back to using black in future makes. But you have to try new things right?! It was fun making this a partial shaker and I used a fabulous sequin mix for this from This Calls For Confetti. I hope you'll head over to the Facebook Page and see all the amazing creations my teamies have made with these fantastic New Release images. There are some really gorgeous examples!

Thanks for popping in to visit today. If you'd like to see the full New Release, you can pop through on the link above to the store. I will be back soon with another crafty adventure, in the meantime, I wish you a wonderful crafty weekend and if you're in the US Happy 4th of July celebrations! Hugs, Wends xoxo

A lovely design to showcase these cute little stamps, I think your 'no lines' colouring looks great- I've tried it and it's really hard to do!

No lines colouring? Amazing lady and this is sensational design full of fun and colours xx
I often use grey ink for images, even if not using no line colouring as it's much 'softer' than black. This is such a fun card Wends, and I love all the dimension. I know what you mean about trying to get good light for photos!!
