Sweet Stampin' ~ Masculine Makes
Hey crafty friends, it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and we are having a 'Masculine' challenge this week. I'm sharing a card I made for my eldest nephew on my side of the family. He's such a cool kid and I wanted to make him a fun card that captured his adventures ahead, for his 21st birthday. He's living in New York right now and having great adventures.
This fabulous stamp is called Love Brings You Home and is from Unity Stamps. The image and two sentiments came in the set. I really love this sentiment, it struck me that no matter where our kiddos wander, love brings them home.
I used a fabulous map themed paper from my stash and added the #21 from an older now retired Whimsy Stamps number set. I used black glitter cardstock to diecut the #21.
The die I used to add the envelope trim to the white panel is a Whimsy Stamps edger die set. It has a cool cross stitch like faux stitch finish and I love how it worked on this card. I added a black and green baker's twine to finish the card. Pretty simple really, but I love the masculine vibes of this one.
Thank you friends for popping in to visit today. We of course would love to see what you're inspired to create! Do pop over and check out the gorgeous makes from my teamies too, they're an incredibly talented team! I'll be back with another crafty adventure soon. Hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo
(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)
