Lili of the Valley ~ Pocket Full of Posies

Hey crafty friends, I'm back with a sweet Spring themed creation I made using the gorgeous new stamp set from Lili of the Valley this month called Flower Pockets. This is a clear stamp set, so the elements can be masked and put together in many different options. I used Copic Markers to colour the lovely blooms. I chose Forget Me Nots, a Daffodil and a Cosmos and I think they look pretty cute in the denim pocket!

I've used some really pretty Maja Design Papers, they've been in my stash for a while and it's so lovely to pull them out for a play. I adore the page with the leaves on it, you may recall green is my favourite colour, so these papers I just adore! They're from the Miles Apart Collection from Maja Design. I've used both sides of one of the pages, the green gingham is the B Side of the darker green paper I cut with the lovely scalloped frame from Whimsy Stamps. The designs just coordinate so beautifully together. Maja has a huge range of gorgeous papers, many in lovely hues of green. I distressed the edges of the paper after diecutting them, with a little Distress Walnut Stain Ink. I do this with a Jumbo Sponge Dauber, quickly flicking it around the edges. It just adds some depth and interest to the edges. It works very well with Maja Design papers as they have a shabby chic distressed feel already.

I've a special bit of news to share with you today. You may recall at Christmas time, Lili of the Valley offered an incredible incentive deal on their back catalogue? Well if you were kicking yourself you didn't grab it at that time, or you would have loved to get the second option offered too, here's another chance to get it!! For a limited time, you can grab either the Digital Stamps Bundle or the Simply Print Bundle with any Digital purchase of Ā£25 or more.

You can click through on the linked banner above straight to the store, no affiliate links used. I got the stamps bundle last time and I'm really thinking about getting the Simply Prints, there are some amazing designs in that range! Let me know if you picked either of the sets up, I think this is one not to pass up! I will be back with another crafty adventure soon. I hope you're enjoying early Spring or Autumn depending where you are. Hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo

(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own. If you use my Whimsy Stamps links and it's your first time shopping with my links, you'll be offered a 10% discount, which is a cool treat. So my links cost you nothing, but may also save you a few pennies. This is a 'one time' benefit, great if planning a bigger purchase.)
