Lili of the Valley ~ Surprise

Hey crafty friends, I am popping in with the sweetest creation today featuring a super cute image from the newly released Farm Stamp Set over at Lili of the Valley. I knew the minute I saw this set I wanted to use the Whimsy Stamps Farm Paper Pack to set the scene for this cutie. It was such an easy creation to bring together, but one of my favourite recent makes!

I have long admired the sweet country life images my lovely blog friend from the UK shares and her beautiful horses are just so photogenic. She lost her beautiful horse Surprise, a long time companion a few years back and this image just reminded me of him so much, so I coloured up this image with Copic Pens to match their beautiful coat. 

The sweet sentiment I used for the card is from a Whimsy Stamps Set called Happy Headlines. I just wanted to send her a happy message to go with this sweet image and I think it fits the scene really well. The patterned paper from Whimsy is just such a perfect fit for this image, I didn't want to do much more than a faux stitched edge and the bold sentiment. I popped the sweet image up on low loft foam, so it sits up from the paper just a little. I mounted the panel onto a kraft card base and my card was done!
