Sweet Stampin' ~ Tag (You're It)

Hey friends, well it's not so much a post about the game of tag, as it is about tags for parcels! I love making little tags and had to join in with Team Susan this week for their 'Tags' challenge at Sweet Stampin'. I have two contributions for this challenge, the first one is a little set of tags I made for Christmas with a sentiment I completely loved when I saw it and had to have! The second is a little tag I made when my nephew was born to accompany a present. It's actually my sister's birthday today, his mummy, so it seems appropriate to share this today!

This sentiment stamp makes me giggle. It's from Riley and Company from their Funny Bones collection and is called Dasher, Dancer, Prancer. It's a Cling Rubber Stamp, so easy to use and stamps beautifully. You may recall I shared some tags a while back using washi tape and I loved so much how these turned out, I've used essentially the same design, just changed up the Washi Tape designs. I have quite a lot of fun red Washi Tapes, perfect for Christmas creations. So it was fun to use some of those on these tags.

The tag is from a wonderful Tag Die Set from Whimsy Stamps. Perfect for Christmas and Birthday parcel tags. The little eyelet die is included so it made it super easy to coordinate the eyelets with the Washi Tape I used on the base of the tags. I finished each tag with some pretty ribbons and a bakers twine bow.

This little tag I made to give my sister with a parcel for her littlest one when he was born. Gosh he reminded me so much of my youngest as a baby. I have another nephew too, who also does. Seems those three have a definite set of family traits! I loved making this cute tag for his parcel. The sweet little argyle sweater stamp is from Unity Stamps. The tag die for this one is from an MFT Die-Namics Stitched Traditional Tag Stax Die Set. I like the lovely stitched detail close to the edge. The cardstock I used to cut the tag, wasn't as Copic Marker friendly as I'd hoped, so it bled a bit when colouring the little vest, but I was sending it and needed to do a quick make, so had no time to redo on different paper. I still think it came out pretty cute and I know my sis would forgive me for that! The sweet sentiment is also from the same Unity Stamp set.

Do pop over to the blog to check out the rest of my talented teamies creations for this challenge and if you're able to join us for the fun, we'd love to see what you're inspired to do! I'll be back again soon with another crafty adventure, until then, hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo

I receive a small commission, which costs you no extra whatsoever, but helps these companies see where their marketing efforts are most effective and is a way they can say 'thank you' to their affiliates and design team members. I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.
