Lili of the Valley ~ Easter Bunny

Hey crafty friends, the days are getting away from me this month, but I'm sneaking in with a sweet Easter Bunny creation I've made with one of the recent Lili of the Valley Photopolymer Stamp Releases. I've coloured this bunny up as if he is made of chocolate, hope that comes across!

This lovely stamp has blossoms and blooms painted over it and the rest of the set is just as pretty. I wanted him to look like a chocolate bunny rather than ceramic, covered in flowers, so built up the grass around him so the blooms would have a 'base'. I don't think the stencil I used was a perfect fit for this scene, but I had to roll with it, as I didn't have an alternate. I love the corner stitching on this old retired die from Whimsy, so I pull it out occasionally for a play.

I added the Easter Blessings sentiment down in the grass. I love that sentiment for Easter and thought it'd be a lovely choice for this card. I've used pretty floral paper from Whimsy to create the card background and used their stencils to add the clouds and grass to the image panel. I distressed the patterned paper edges and added some pretty pearls on opposing corners to complete the card. Not exactly a CAS card, but it came together quite quickly after completing the colouring. Wishing you all a wonderful Easter. It's coming up quickly! Hugs, Wends xoxo
