Whimsy Stamps ~ He Is Risen

Hey lovely crafty friends, I'm popping in today with an Easter card I gave my beautiful Mummy. I’ve been busy helping a family member with a house move. It’s been a very long weekend so far, but it's my sister's birthday today and it's Easter Sunday, so it feels a good day to share this card. I'll keep my post brief, as we're shifting and cleaning this whole weekend.

I knew my lovely Mum would appreciate this card and she really did. We had lunch to celebrate my little sister's birthday, so I was able to give Mum this card today too. This card is simple, but oh so striking I think. The fabulous Savior Die Set has this striking and wonderful scene of Calvary. I diecut this from black cardstock. I used the lovely dark Raven cardstock from Spellbinders. I white heat embossed the sentiment 'Light of the World' from the Savior Clear Stamp Set and layered the Calvary diecut scene over a page of the beautiful Glorious Sky Slimline Paper which had a fabulous sunburst that I thought suited this scene so well. An otherwise very simple card, but perfect I think for Easter.

We've had two fabulous releases in April, our most recent one is so cool and full of Mother and Father's Day feels and Hero Vibes. Well worth checking out! You can click through on the banner above to the store. I will be back before long with another crafty adventure, I've a few to catch up! Hugs and happy Easter, Wends xoxo

(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)

Wends this is a fabulous card encapsulating the truth of the Easter message - I love it. So dramatic in it's simplicity
