Hey crafty friends, we interrupt this regularly scheduled broadcast to bring you a 'non-Halloween' creation! Hehe. Thank you to all my crafty friends who indulge my love for Halloween at this time of year, but tonight, I'm actually sharing a Christmas creation with you. We have an 'Animals' challenge at Sweet Stampin' this time around and I happened to have a Christmas creation I'd yet to share in my vault. It's awful to confess that I've not made this new for this challenge, but time is not my friend at this time of year, so I have pulled a few 'yet to be shared' creations from my back catalogue of cards. Over the years, I've created faster than I've been able to blog, so I do have a few pics stashed away to share when I have time or remember. So this cutie which I made probably a couple of years ago actually, is using a lovely but probably now retired Unity Stamp called All Santa's Reindeer.

If you have a look closely at the antlers, all the reindeer names appear there. It's such a lovely stamp. I have a
previous post I shared using this beautiful stamp which you can find here. It doesn't require much more than stamping this beautiful outline. I've stamped it on kraft card stock and added a sentiment also from Unity Stamps. Both of these have since retired, which is such a shame, because they really are lovely! I've mounted the kraft cardstock panel over a white matt that was cut with a gorgeous die from Whimsy Stamps that was designed by Faye Wynn-Jones. She has a really awesome FaDoodles range at Whimsy Stamps, which as someone who doesn't doodle well, but loves the look, I highly recommend taking a look! The lovely gold foil kraft cardstock I've used on the base I bought from a craft store here in New Zealand and I don't believe it's available anymore. It was made by DCWV. It's lovely thick cardstock that had a range of foiled designs embossed into the kraft card base and made a lovely background for this very CAS design. I mounted the finished design onto a top folding white A2 card base and paired it with a kraft envelope to complete the design.

I hope you can come and join our 'Animals' challenge. We'd love to see what you're inspired to create. I'll be back soon with another crafty adventure, until then, I wish you a wonderfully creative week. Hugs, Wends xoxo
(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)
