Christmas at Sweet Stampin' ~ Stars
Hey there crafty friends, it's time for our October challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' and this month, we'd love to see your Christmas creations that feature stars. I've made this quick little Christmas card using a very sweet Penny Black hedgie and glittered up the featured star. I kept this quite clean and simple and opted for non-Christmassy colours. I'm in an Autumnal mood, despite it being Spring here in New Zealand! So the colours reflect that.
I stamped the image in Memento Rich Cocoa as I felt it would work so nicely for the wee hedgie, but workd a treat for the tree too! I stamped the sentiment brown to tone in with the image too. I'm not quite sure why I chose a burgundy cardstock base, I just did and it kinda doesn't go, but really does if you know what I mean?!
I coloured this cutie a while back, so it was done with my Promarkers. I have a lil' stash of images I colour but don't always use straight away and this was amongst them. I just love this sweet image and really must pull out my Penny Black Hedgies again soon, I really love these sweet images.
The rest of the CaSS team has created some utterly stunning inspiration for this challenge, so be sure to stop by the blog and check out their gorgeous creations. I hope you'll come and share your take on our Christmas Star theme this month, we'd love to see what you're inspired to do! I'll be back very soon with another crafty adventure. Have a wonderful week and in case you missed my last post, scroll back to be sure you read all about the massive prizes up for grabs in our Whimsy Stamps 31 nights of Halloween and our World Cardmaking Day Blog and Ig Hops. Hugs, Wends xoxo
