Sweet Stampin' ~ Feature A Creature

Hey crafty pals, it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and this week, we want to see your creations that feature a creature! This could be a Halloween creature or any animal for that matter. I've been trying to hunt down a card I prepped, I only had to stick the image to the base, but do you think I can find it?! Bah, I've given up, so time for a craft room clean up! LOL. So I'm sharing with you today, something I prepared earlier. This fun creation was sent to one of our Swedish besties for his birthday and I think these dapper dudes from Stamping Bella are fabulous, just as he is. So it's nice to share this today.

I kept the card design really simple, because, you know fellas, they like the CAS cards best most of the time. So I just added a little bit of bling with some glitter cardstock cut into a fishtail banner and added some black and white washi tape behind it and a simple sentiment and the job was done! 

I coloured these cuties with my Promarkers and took a pic in two different lights. Funny how the lighting can make such a difference to the finish. The cool light below gives a slightly better representation of the true colours. 

I really like this stamp set, and I must pull it out again soon for another play. I have so many Stamping Bella's that are woefully neglected, but I just need more hours in the day! I think this set is so fabulous for the fellas in our lives. 

I hope you'll come and play along with us this week. We're always excited to see what folks create with the themes for inspiration. We're trying to make them broader from now on, as it would seem our fun themes this past year, were just too restrictive and caused a lot of drop off in entries, so we're going back to more open themes as we don't want to put folks off playing along! I'll be back again soon with another crafty adventure.
