Sweet Stampin' ~ Wild About You Baby

Hey lovely crafty pals, it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and we are celebrating World Animal Day, so we'd love to see all your creations featuring Animals, domestic or wild, we love them all! My lovely sister-in-law has an equally lovely sister and she's just had her first baby. A sweet baby boy, so I wanted to create something lovely to celebrate this news. I happened to have this cute Unity Stamps image sitting on my desktop when I was thinking about what to use and the sentiment stamp that goes with it is just so perfect for a new baby make, that I couldn't look past them, so this was created quite quickly after sitting for quite some time before that thinking through what I'd use! Funny how that happens, but once I'd settled on that image, the mojo just flowed!

I used my warm grey Copics to colour this sweet ellie and the rest of the colouring was super quick and easy, a bit of green for the grass, blue for the sky and a minty green and red for the balloon. The colours worked so well with the sweet paper I'd chosen, which is from the Echo Park Sweet Baby Boy Collection.

I cut the image mat with a lovely Tattered Lace die and added the sentiment to a little diecut cloud to complete the design. A very simple design, but I really love it and hopefully so will my sister-in-laws sister.
