Sweet Stampin' ~ Bloomin' Wonderful

Crafty friends, it's time for another challenge at Sweet Stampin', we roll them our every week and this week we have 'Bloomin' Wonderful' as our theme. Any floral paper craft creation is welcome as long as you use some stamping on it.

You may recall an earlier post I did using this beautiful stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I won this gorgeous stamp set as part of a very lovely prize basket from the lovely Niki Coursey from the Cardmaker's Craft Room. If you've not visited her fabulous Facebook Group, I encourage you to, there's just so much crafty loveliness going on there. If you want to see the goodies I won, (because there were a lot!!) you can see my 'unboxing' of this wonderful prize 'here'.

I LOVE ranunculus, I think they are just such gorgeous flowers. Their soft petals and pretty colour gradients just speak beauty to me. So, I had a go at colouring up the ranunculus' in this stamp set, a little like the pretty pic above. I've a way to go yet, I used my Copic Markers to colour this image but I'll try again soon maybe as a watercolour next time to see if I can achieve a better gradient. But I'm happy with this attempt. The lovely sentiment is from a Whimsy Stamps Sentiment Set. I sent this card to one of my lovely Whimsy DT teamies who was going through a tough time health wise.

Just before sending this card, I decided it needed some 'splatters'. I'd already taken the main pics, but managed to snap a little pic of the golden splatters I added. Not sure if this was a case of 'overthinking' things, but I felt it was just too bare, I struggle with true CAS for this reason. So splatters it was, last minute! This shot does not do it justice, the splatters are a lovely shiny 'old gold' colour and look lovely to finish the design.

The rest of my teamies have been hard at work on their gorgeous floral creations and they are beautiful! So do stop by the challenge blog to check them out and if you can join us with your own floral creation please do! We'd love to see what you're inspired to do! I'll be back again soon with another crafty adventure. Be sure to look at my previous post, which is part of a fabulous blog hop  #spreadjoynotgerms, and come join the fun! Stay safe in your bubbles, hugs, Wends xoxo

You've done a beautiful job coloring and how you used just a part of the full image is perfect. I like it just as much with the splatters added too! Thank you for sharing with us at the Alphabet Challenge!
