Whimsy Stamps ~ Mini Release Polka Dot Pals in Digital!
Hey crafty friends, I'm popping in today with a quick post to show you a sweet new release we have happening at Whimsy Stamps today. We have a gorgeous range of clear stamps in store at the moment from Barbara Sproatmeyer's Polka Dot Pals range and today, we have 6 gorgeous Characters and Scenes being released in our Digital collection, woohoo!
I've coloured up sweet Imogen Garden Fairy today for a bit of relaxation time. She was a dream to colour and the scene was far less daunting in reality than I thought it was going to be when I started colouring. I kept the scene pretty simple, with just a grassy hill beneath her and stenciled blue sky above. I masked her to create the scene after she was coloured with Copics.
I have finished the design by adding some glittery details to the butterfly, some gloss to the wee snail's shell and some jelly roll glitter ink to the scroll details and edges of the wings. I kept the design very simple, with just a glitter cardstock border in a copper hue to match her hair and finished with a sweet sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps clear stamp set Happy Headlines by Deb Davis.
I hope you'll enjoy having a look at these gorgeous new scenes that have been released today at Whimsy Stamps. There'll be more inspiration today in the Facebook Group with these images and I'm definitely going to have another play soon with these cuties too. It really was lovely just to sit and colour a full scene like this. If you'd like to check out the rest of the release, head on over to the Whimsy Store to see the full line up.
I'll be back again soon with another crafty adventure. Until then I send you hugs and wishes that you stay safe. Happy crafting xoxo

As You Like It: Favourite non-birthday occasion and why? I like to create 'just because' cards quite often choosing sentiments that can be interpreted in a few different ways. That way, when I need a card to fit a certain occasion I can usually make it work. I love to create specifically for a person and for an occasion, but there are times when I need to grab something from my stash and this makes it possible to adapt to the need.
