Sweet Stampin' ~ Thank You

Hey lovely friends, I'm back with a late share for a card I ought to have had ready yesterday. I'm all at sixes and sevens since my computer crashed. It's fabulous to have the use of the kids computer, but tough working out whose turn it is! We're still rescuing files from my crashed computer, thank heavens for a techy hubby! So I don't have any of my files back yet and for this reason, my watermark will look a little different on this post.

This adorable image is from the Sassy Cheryl Collection at Whimsy Stamps. I LOVE this image, I was really enjoying seeing her newer designs before she closed her store and was SO delighted when they joined the Whimsy Digital Vault! This image was released last month, but I've paired it with a sweet sentiment that was released this month from the Deb Davis Digital Collection at Whimsy. I had foiled this for another card, so I actually used the 'waste' to create the sentiment plaque for this card. You know how I LOVE to recycle! It really is shiny and pretty in reality, but it's hard to capture the light 'just right' so you can actually read it and the shine doesn't take over.

I had this lovely gingham paper from an older paper pad I've had for years, it may even have been a  magazine cover gift, I can't recall, but it's lovely and I wish I had more! It was such a good fit for this image and I LOVE gingham. So a quick and simple wrap of pretty orange organza ribbon and this card was done. I think this image makes a lovely 'Thank You' card and it will find its way to someone special soon.

I hope you'll come and play along with us this week at Sweet Stampin' for our 'Thank You' challenge.  Be sure to check out what my awesomely talented teamies got up to for this challenge and we'd love to see what you're inspired to do. Just remember to add some stamping! Hugs and catch you again really soon, Wends xoxo
