Whimsy Stamps ~ It's The Bosses Birthday!

Hey crafty friends, we are celebrating a special birthday today, for our lovely boss and the owner of Whimsy Stamps, the wonderful Denise Lynn! So we are having a fabulous Instagram Hop to celebrate and there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs! I've made a fun and sweet creation, which I doubt will have arrived in time for my lovely bosses birthday, international post being what it is, but I can totally celebrate her day digitally!

I've ink blended the background with three distress oxide inks in Villainous Potion, Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender. Stamped the lovely stars from the FaDoodle Stars stamp set in clear embossing powder and then diecut some star and moon shapes from the Primitive Shaker Shapes die set to create little shaker windows for this design. I spread some glow in the dark embossing paste on a panel of white cardstock to create the shaker background and added some glow in the dark stars to a fabulous shaker mix from This Calls For Confetti, to carry on the glow in the dark theme. But I used a gorgeous mix from This Calls For Confetti as the base to this shaker mix and oh my goodness it's perfect! Not to mention that this particular shaker mix was inspired by the lovely Emma Lynn, Denise's talented daughter. So a lovely one to be using for Denise's birthday card!

Join us for this fun Instagram Hop to be in to win one of the fabulous prizes on offer and to help us celebrate this lovely lady who brings such joy to our crafty journeys! Head to the first stop on the hop to get started, which is @lisaannmensing. My contribution for the hop can be found over @craftykiwimama. Be sure to comment there to have a chance to win the wonderful prizes!

Thanks for popping in to visit today and enjoy the hop! All the elements used in my creations are listed in the thumbnails below. Or you can click through on the banner above to visit the main store. Hugs and happy hopping!
