Whimsy Stamps ~ Sweet Stampin' Anniversaries/Births/Weddings
Hey crafty friends, sorry I've been a bit quiet this week, but I've had my in-laws visiting and while they were here, hubby and I celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary. I don't feel old enough to have been married that long, but yep, the years have gone by and happy in our little world we celebrate another year as besties sharing all life has to offer, the ups, the downs and the rollercoaster ride in between.
I made a very simple card for our 30th Anniversary. I just didn't have time in the end for anything more elaborate. But it's a special day and a milestone worth celebrating, so despite not having a lot of time to craft in the lead up to it, I pulled together this very CAS design to celebrate the day.
I also decorated the inside of the card. To be fair, either of these panels could have been the front of the card and I did fold it both ways before deciding on the image holding pinkies as the front. But I do love the stencilled panel too and thought this made a lovely background inside the card. The sentiment was perfect too.
My talented teamies at Whimsy Stamps have worked some absolute magic with Whimsy's first release of the year (which is linked in the pic above) which was on my actual anniversary ~ January 15th. So many clever designs and oodles of inspiration as always, which you'll find shared in our Facebook Group and also on Instagram.
Coincidentally, my other teamies over on the Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog are having an Anniversaries/Births/Weddings Challenge this time, so I'll share a pic of my card over there too. It's a Team Susan challenge, so come and join the fun with us if you can. I will of course be back as soon as I can with another crafty adventure, in the meantime, thanks for visiting today and I hope to visit you in return very soon. (Photo above is hubby and me, 30 years ago!) Hugs, Wends xoxo
(I've added thumbnails to make your shopping easier if you like any of the elements I've created with. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever, though more importantly it helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)
