Lili of the Valley ~ Easter Blessings

Hey crafty friends, I finally found a few minutes today to sit down and catch up on some posts. I have this sweet Easter card to share with you using the adorable Lili of the Valley Easter set. I made this last month, but time has run away from me. So I'm popping in to share this before Easter is upon us!

I sent this lovely card to a dear friend of mine who is going through some of the toughest stuff right now, that life can throw at us. So it's an Easter Card, but with an acknowledgement that life is a little tough right now. I've coloured the image with a selection of Copic Markers, these ones I did not take not of, sorry to those who like to know. I was colouring for relaxation and meditation with this one, as this dear friend was on my mind.

I used a beautiful scalloped frame with faux stitching to diecut the panel after colouring and I adore how this simple detail just elevates this design. Very little else was needed to complete the design, I just added some black and white and silver pen details to some of the colouring, but no bling, I wanted this to remain very CAS. I did pop up the panel on foam before adding to a top folder A2 card base, which I think makes it look elegant and complete. I'm hoping it will arrive in Scotland in good condition, long posting journeys like that can take a toll on a card, so fingers crossed!

Thanks for popping in to visit today friends. I hope you enjoyed this latest LOTV creation from me. They have released some wonderful new sets this month, since this lovely Easter set, so be sure to check out their Etsy Store for the latest offerings. I hope your Easter plans are shaping up well. I'm in the middle of making the cutest Easter Basket, so need to get back to that project. Sending love and hopes that this will be a time of rest and renewal for you. Hugs, Wends xoxo

(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own. If you use my Whimsy Stamps links and it's your first time shopping with my links, you'll be offered a 10% discount, which is a cool treat. So my links cost you nothing, but may also save you a few pennies. This is a 'one time' benefit, great if planning a bigger purchase.)

This is really beautiful Wends, love the stamp and the encouraging sentiment. Your colouring and colour choice is fabulous and the pretty scalloped frame adds to the design without detracting from the simplicity.
I hope it reaches its destination and your friend without any damage.
