Sweet Stampin' - Make A Scene

It's been a busy week here and there's no sign of it slowing down anytime soon, so I'm swinging by to post my DT card for Sweet Stampin' and most unlike me, I'll keep it short and sweet.

Our challenge theme this week is 'Create A Scene'. I've always been good at 'Making A Scene', but this one had me stumped! So I fell back on my Memory Box dies to help with this challenge and found I had a Country Landscape scene die I've not used nearly enough. So here's my take on the challenge.

I used a pretty digital paper to create the snowy backdrop for my card, edged the paper and image with tumbled glass blue distress ink and softly coloured the sweet Angel from CC Designs Sweet November line. I used my Promarkers to colour the image, dotting on some soft colour to the sweet lamb and just touches of colour on the Angel to shade her white clothes. I needed some colour, so went cotton candy pink on her hair. Gotta say, I do like it.

I used some white Flowersoft on the Angel wings and a touch of stickles on the halo. The Noel sentiment is an older one I've had a while and if I recall correctly it's from a Lili of the Valley grey rubber set of sentiments. I thought it was the perfect simple finish for this CAS design.

So yeah, that's me being 'quick', haha, can't help myself once I get started. But that's it now, a very quick and easy CAS design card.
