Sweet Stampin' ~ No Squares or Rectangles Allowed
A quick hello tonight as we are kicking off a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. This week we want to see your shaped cards. No squares or rectangles please. Our fabulous sponsor this week is Freckled Fawn, so our lucky winner is in for a lovely treat. They have such gorgeous elements for scrapbooking and cardmaking. I'm a big fan of their woodchip elements.
I apologise for the blurry pic above. I've tried to retake the shot three times and it looks clear until I upload it! So I've no idea what I've done wrong, but if you pop it up to the bigger size (just click on the pic) it seems to get clearer. So strange!! This sweet wee man is a Whimsy Stamp by Crissy Armstrong called 'Flower For You'. I've coloured the image with my Promarkers and then added the Wink of Stella accents.
I've had no luck with my photos for this post, I'll have to have a go again tomorrow. But for now, here's a wee shot of the sparkle from the Wink of Stella on the woodchip butterfly and the flowers. I added a touch to the edge of the yellow flower as well. I just love those tactile, soft, gorgeous white crocheted flowers. The woodchip butterfly and those gorgeous crocheted roses are from SpiegelMom Scraps. The butterfly is from the Cloud 9 Bloom Wood Veneers set. The yellow bloom is a cherry blossom from Wild Orchid Crafts. I just love their flowers.
We'd love to see what you'd come up with for this challenge. Shaped cards are so fun! I love all the fabulous shaped dies and templates available out there. The lovely flower shape that I've used here is a Go Kreate die from their XXL range. Why don't you pull out your fabby shapes and come join in the fun for our challenge this week. Remember the wonderful prize we have from Freckled Fawn, now that's a prize I'd LOVE to win!
I'm busy creating a wee baby album today for one of my bestie's whose wee babe just turned one and she's having a very gorgeous first birthday celebration for her tomorrow. I'm so excited, we have the cutest pressies for her! I need to get back to creating her sweet wee album though or it won't be ready in time! I'll see you again soon and I wish you a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Wends x

As You Like It: Favourite Die ~ I love stitched dies, I have a real thing for them. My favourites are Lil' Inkers, which I've used here in this creation. I also love the Go Kreate XXL dies. They have so many gorgeous shapes, my favourite is the frilly #10, but I've used one of their flower dies in this make. I just thought the image would suit this Go Kreate shape and I'm pleased I used it. :)
Update: I've had another go at piccy's today, it's still overcast (it is Winter after all here in NZ) and I just can't get a better shot of this card. I'm starting to think it's my camera! So I give in for now. Can't work it out. But I have had lots of trouble with PicMonkey not starting properly lately, so maybe there's a glitch in THAT matrix! LOL. Hope my next card will be easier to photograph!

The photo looks ok to me but clicking on it to make it bigger just means I can admire it all the better anyway and I can see how pretty that paper is close up. Not to mention your gorgeous soft colouring :-)
I hope you are having a fab weekend and that you get that baby album finished; sounds like a lovely project.
