Whimsy Stamps ~ Sweet Spring Fox
Hey there my lovely blogging buddies, I'm back today with a super sweet Whimsy Stamps creation. It's my last post for July, because can you believe that this time next week we'll be in August?!! So it's almost time for the August New Releases and let me tell ya, you're gonna LOVE them! But first, let me share this sweet creation with you. I'm a little in love with this sweet fox. This is a Lee Holland design and I just LOVE his enchanting images. I've loved them ever since his Woodland Folk days. So it's been so lovely to see his designs at Whimsy Stamps. Denise really does have an eye for the best artists and designers!
I'll link all the gorgeous Whimsy Stamps goodies I've used below and I hope you'll stop into the Facebook page and take a peek at all the gorgeousness there that comes in a constant stream from all the madly talented Whimsy Stamps design team.
The rest of the divas and I are prepping for the big reveal of next weeks New Releases, so be sure to come back this time next week for the first of those reveals! Until then, have a gorgeous week and happy crafting! Hugs xoxo
So this darling lil' guy is called Spring Fox and I just LOVE this enchanting wee image. I've coloured him with my Copic Markers. I used E13-E19 in layered shades for his warm brown coat. I left the image panel quite sparse apart from a lil' blue around him to suggest a warm blue sky day. I really wanted the eye to be drawn to that sweet fox, so didn't add lots of background details.
The gorgeous paper in this creation just jumped out at me the minute I saw it, to be paired with this sweet fox. Denise has made a gorgeous set of Polka Dot papers and they are so versatile. This one is a warm copper orange that was just such a great match for this sweet fox.
I wanted to use some of the lil' twigs and woodland treasures the kiddos and I had collected at the start of Autumn here. So tucked a couple of seed pods and twigs into the paper flower mix. All the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts blooms. I've also tucked a wee bit of picket fence in there which was cut with a Magnolia Doohickey die. All this was stuck down with my favourite 'stay put' glue ~ OLBA.
I used a really lovely pairing of epoxy heart sticker and puffy sentiment sticker to finish this design. One is a sentiment strip that reads 'in this moment' and I paired it with the heart that reads 'this is everything'. I just loved that combination as the scene here with that sweet fox and the lil' caterpillar with the lil' message of love in the leaf, really is one of those 'stop and breath in the moment' scenes. So I just loved this sentiment pairing! These are from Pinkfresh Studio's line called Let Your Heart Decide.

I love looking at others creations with buttons, but I'm not much of a button girl myself. I'm ribbons all the way!
