Fab 'n' Funky ~ Hearts & Flowers

Hey there crafty pals. I'm sharing my DT creation for Fab 'n' Funky tonight. We have a fun new challenge starting today and the theme is 'Hearts & Flowers'. I've created a card using some elements from the 'Close To My Heart' company. 

It's a simple thank you card, using some very pretty paper from 'Close To My Heart', a diecut heart from glitter cardstock, layered over a banner die and a vellum scalloped oval. I finished the card with a diecut 'thanks' and some 'water drops' created with Nuvo Clear Crystal Drops. 

A simple design, but very pretty I think with a few nicely combined elements. I've distressed the edge of the patterned paper and layered it over a base paper in a toning shade of green to finish the layout. I'm so pleased with this sweet card. No colouring, which is my usual 'go to', but a sweet and simple diecut design for a quick and easy thank you card.
