Sweet Stampin' ~ Show Us Your Magical Makes!

Hey there crafty pals. It's time of a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and this week, we are celebrating JK Rowling's Birthday which is on July 31st, so we want to see all your magical makes as a hat tip to her! Your creations don't have to be Harry Potter themed, but you're more than welcome to make them that. Any creation that hints at all things magical will be welcome. 

My creation was made with a fun Tiddly Inks image which looks very much like the fabulous Hermione Granger from Harry Potter. As the wee girlie that I made it for is blonde, I coloured it to look like here. 

She had a Harry Potter themed party for her 8th birthday and it was fabulous! Wands and all!!

It was one of my bestie's daughters birthdays and this pal is awesome at doing parties in style. So she went all out with the decorations. The food was wonderfully themed and the kids all got to choose and take a wand home.

The wands really were very impressive and all individual and unique, just as a wand ought to be right?! My pal had made them with wooden chopsticks, a hot glue gun and metallic paint! Clever girlie.

The bubbles are not showing their shine in the main pic, but they're covered in Wink of Stella, so quite shiny in the right light. I coloured them with different pale shades to try and capture that water rainbow you often see in bubbles. 

I added a little scroll to look like it was her acceptance message from Hogwarts. I tied it with a tiny ribbon which was cut from the inside of one of my shirts. They're 'hanger ribbons' but they drive me mad, so I trim them out and this was a great use for this one.

I added this sentiment inside the card as there was more than enough going on the front there. This is an older sentiment from yet another retired craft company, StampFairy. But it fit the bill here so perfectly.
