Whimsy Stamps ~ Witch Way To The Candy?!
Hey lovely crafty pals. It's a brand new month full of fun and Halloween mischief over at Whimsy Stamps. Our latest launch is full of fantastic Halloween and Winter and Christmas themes. There's something for everyone! Normally, I'd have shared the Digital New Release on the Whimsy Blog already by now, but this month, we are celebrating the 31 Nights of Halloween, so there's all manner of fun being had over on the blog from the 1st through to the 31st of October! So we Divas will be sharing our Treats on the 7th. I'll let you in on a little secret too, there are over $350 worth of prizes up for grabs during the 31 Nights of Halloween Whimsy Fun. So go check it out!! Oh my goodness, seriously awesome!!
Check out this super cutie Witch Cinnamon from our Rustic Sugar Range at Whimsy Stamps. I totally fell for this sweet image when I saw her and couldn't wait to colour her up. She looks like she's having the ride of her life! She so reminds me of Kiki! I couldn't resist colouring her up in bright and gorgeous candy colours. I'm all about the cute Halloween creations. I so can't do the sleuky stuff, scares the pants off me! But I LOVE these enchanting sweet images. I could craft all month long with these sweet images!
I coloured her up with my Copic Markers, (which totally need some TLC and refilling!) but I so love the rich finish they give. I decided not to add a dark sky around her, but rather add a dark sky matt instead and I really love how this came together. I offset it slightly to mimic the shape of the moon. I added the buildings underneath last minute and really love what that added to the creation.
I so wanted to use this sweet sentiment with this image, it really just was so perfect with the sweet joy on her face! I finished the design with a Whimsy bat from their fabulous Halloween themed Dracula's Coffin die set and all the circular elements were cut with their lovely stitched and pierced Circles set.
This gorgeous harlequin paper from Pixel Scrapper designer Sheila Reid I used last year also for Halloween. I just love it, the candy colours and that fab harlequin pattern, it just appeals to me so much, so I really wanted to use it with this image too. There'll be loads more gorgeous 'Too Cute To Spook' Halloween fun rolling out across the Whimsy Facebook Page from the Divas, so be sure to stop in and check it all out.
We are having a Blog and IG Hop to celebrate World Cardmaking Day on the 5th, so be sure to stop back here for that! So many amazing prizes being given away this month, so don't miss out! You can check out the huge line up of new Digital images for October by clicking through on the banner above and I'll see you all again really soon with another crafty adventure. Hugs xoxo
Gem of a Challenge: #19 ~ Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday: #602 ~ Anything Goes
Colour Crazy Challenge: #38 ~ Anything Goes
Addicted to Stamps & More: #361 ~ Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations: October ~ Masculine OR Halloween/Autumn
As You Like It: CAS or FAF ~ Oh this is SO hard, because I'm basically somewhere between these two styles, I'm not strictly speaking CAS in my designs, but they are definitely more pared back compared to true FAF creations. So can I sit on the fence for this one?!!
