Whimsy Stamps ~ Served With Love
Hey crafty friends, I'm back with a sweet Christmas creation made for our last Whimsy Inspiration Post for November! Can you believe we're already wrapping up the month?! It'll be Christmas before you know it!
I'm into my quick Christmas creating mode, as I'm fast running out of time! I so hoped I'd have made 50 by now, but no such luck! So a quick card design, with delish paper and a sweet scene that required little more than some image grounding and I was a happy girlie! Crissy's Winter Bears are the sweetest, I just LOVE colouring up these cuties! The sweetness of this scene just melts me and it's aptly named Served with Love. How enchanting is that?! I kept the colours and colouring very simple to work in with the delish plaid paper I'd chosen as the backdrop for this card. Oh my goodness, I LOVE this set! My absolute favourite currently, but then if you know me, you'll know how potty I'm am for plaid and tartan!
I used a lovely Christmas tree die set from Whimsy Stamps for the trees and the pretty scallop shape of the main panel was created with the lovely scalloped edge of a relatively new die set. It was a little longer than I wanted, so I shortened it a bit, for a more square finish. Worked really well! I added a pretty sequin trim ribbon over a plain red satin ribbon for a little extra sparkly touch and finished the card with an older corner die from Whimsy.
I'm keeping it short and sweet tonight, as I've been writing the Inspiration post today and I've run out of day, so I'm heading over to the couch to go hang with hubby and chill for a bit, with a nice warm cuppa like this sweet pair. I'll be back very soon with another crafty adventure, but in the meantime, stay safe and well and happy crafting! If you need some inspiration be sure to check out our fabulous Inspiration posts over on the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Blog, there's always so much fabulous inspiration to be found there! Hugs xoxo
