Whimsy Stamps ~ We're All A Little Bit Irish...
Hey there crafty pals, this month has been high-jacked by our big house move and I'm so happy to say we are the other side of the actual move now, woohoo! Now I'm surrounded by boxes to unpack, a good third of them craft stash! Who knew one girl could collect so much?!! I don't have a craft room in this house, just a wee corner of our lounge, so my storage will be in the garage, which flooded the other day, which resulted in a hasty move of what stash we'd actually managed to unpack! Sigh, we will get there, but man, what a start! I'm here today however, to share a fun creation I made with a fantastic Whimsy Stamps Clear Stamp Set created for St Paddy's Day celebrations. After all, we're all a little bit Irish on St Paddy's Day right?! In my case this is true! I LOVE St Paddy's Day and wish it was better celebrated here, I'll be wearing green and raising a glass when the day rolls around.
I used a lovely scalloped edge die to cut out the image panel and as it was heavyweight watercolour card, it picked up all the embossing too, which gives it such a pretty look. I mounted the image panel onto lovely cardstock from Whimsy Stamps which matched the theme so well. This is actually slimline paper, but I pieced together two sheets, matching the pattern to get the width I wanted. It worked so well, it's tricky to spot the seam! I stamped a lovely sentiment from the clear stamp set and a wee shamrock to finish.
In case you missed my earlier posts, we are running a challenge on the Whimsy Stamps Facebook Group at the moment, which will run until the end of February, so only a day left! The Treasures Team have been showcasing some of these lovely sets below during January and February, so our challenge is to share these creations with you. You can join in with any creation using a Whimsy Stamps image, however if you use the stamp sets below, you'll be entered into the prize draw twice! There's a $25 Whimsy Stamps Gift Card up for grabs. You can enter with any Whimsy creation, but we'd especially love to see creations made with 'these' sets.
Thanks for popping in to visit today. I'm off back to the unpacking, sigh, SO much still to do, but at least we are past the move now. Seriously though, who knew one crafty gal could accumulate so much stash?! Wishing you a fandabbydozy, crafty day! Hugs xoxo
