Whimsy Stamps ~ Easter Blessings

Hey there crafty friends. I'm back today with some sweet mini cards I created for Easter. I've used a beautiful set of Easter themed stamps from Whimsy to create this little set of notecards. I'll be sending them to my mother in law as it is her birthday on Easter Sunday and it's a big birthday this year. She turns 80! So it will be lovely to give her some cards I know she will enjoy using for friends.

I used a very natural palette for these cards, hessian, kraft and cream with stamping in shades of brown. I really like the earthiness of them. For the two I used hessian as the base, the stamping was enough, but for the cream one, the card felt a little plain, so I added a border of simple embossed lines to frame the design.

This year has been difficult for so many reasons, which makes me mindful to count my blessings and I do try to. Creating these special note cards was really therapeutic for me, slowing down to just focus on our blessings and know there's nothing we cannot face together. Well I'll leave you with that thought and wish you a wonderful week and plenty of soul healing crafty time! Hugs xoxo

Oh what exquisite notecards Wends - I love the theme you have chosen and the stamps you have used - to keep with the earthy tones was so very 'right'
