Lili of the Valley ~ Simply Print Christmas Cards

Hey lovely crafty friends, I'm shifting into high gear with my 'quick' Christmas creations. Do you ever use Toppers or Quick Prints for your cards? I've pulled out a few for a play.

I have a gorgeous selection of Toppers and Simply Prints from the wonderful English Craft Company ~ Lili of the Valley and have turned a few Simply Print pages into cute Christmas cards with the help of some fabulous Whimsy Stamps Frame Dies.

Since I didn't have to do any colouring, I wanted to step up the card design a bit and I think these turned out really lovely. I've used a few extra dies from my stash in places to embellish the designs, but the recipe is essentially, a cute topper and a cute card frame die!

I used a glitter cardstock to diecut the sweet church and snowy tree from Marianne Designs and the little mistletoe sprig is from an older die in my stash, I can't find it right now to double check the brand, but it will be something like Magnolia or possibly CC Designs again. I thought it fit this little bit of the frame so nicely!

The cool frame die is from Whimsy Stamps. For one of the designs I popped up the elements on foam for dimension, the other I inlaid the pieces flush with the frame, just for a point of difference in the designs. This frame is so versatile and can be used portrait or landscape as I show with these two designs. So lots of options!

I can't link the dies I've used for the smaller embellishments, as they're long retired. The sweet church is from Marianne Designs and the heart and houses in the image below are from CC Designs.

Let me know what you think of this design idea. I'm off to make more cards now. I hope your Christmas crafting is going well. Are you a last minute lass like me?! I try to create through the year, but never have enough come Christmas!

I hope this inspires you to see your toppers and Simply Print pages in a different way. I love to create a design with a bit of interest and personalisation. So these were a fun way to incorporate a few different elements I had in my stash and I so love how these turned out!

I encourage you to check out the sweet creations my Lili of the Valley team mates have made in the lead up to Christmas. You can see their designs shared in the We Love Lili of the Valley Facebook Group. If you're not signed up there and love these images, do consider joining. It's a lovely group of crafters who enjoy sharing their Lili of the Valley themed creations. I will be back soon with another crafty adventure. In the meantime I wish you a wonderful and creative week. Hugs, Wends xoxo

(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)
